The Systems Engineering team is responsible for the administration, support, automation, security, and lifecycle management of the enterprise Linux infrastructure and associated platform services. The team provides operational support, engineering expertise, and strategic platform management to ensure the stability, availability, performance, and security of critical enterprise systems across production, staging, and development environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following platforms and functions: • Red Hat Satellite management and content lifecycle administration • Operate system and platform lifecycle management activities including: Patch management Upgrade planning and execution Vulnerability remediation Configuration management • End-of-life (EOL) remediation and technology refresh activities • System monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response • Support for production, staging, and development environments • Coordination with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams • Documentation, operational procedures, and change management support • Special projects and initiatives as assigned. HOURS/SHIFT Day - Due to the necessary technical duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.
