Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate closely with the Procurement and Finance teams to monitor and follow up on all issued Purchase Orders (POs) and Letters of Credit (LCs) related to import shipments,.
• Ensure the timely receipt, verification, and processing of all shipping and customs documentation.
• Liaise with customs authorities, customs brokers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient customs clearance operations.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and compliance issues.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on customs clearance activities, shipment status, and logistics performance.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of all customs and logistics documentation.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between the Logistics, Procurement, Finance and Supplier teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable customs regulations throughout the import / Export process.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and customs clearance performance.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import/export regulations.
• Excellent coordination, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Experience working on construction projects is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in customs clearance and logistics operations.
• Experience in construction or EPC projects is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in livestock import operations is considered an advantage.
