Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is looking for a highly motivated Concrete Project Manager Intern to join our team in Richmond Heights.  As part of the $5B+ ARCO Family of Companies, MCC is backed by the strength and presence of a leading, national design-build general contractor, giving you the opportunity to provide turnkey concrete foundation, slab on grade, tilt-up, and exterior pavement solutions for projects spanning all sizes coast to coast.  Because MCC is committed to creating opportunities for individual success, from day one, you will be given the tools to excel in your role, take on meaningful responsibilities, and experience why MCC is truly the best place to build your career.     A DAY IN THE LIFE At MCC, an Intern works during the summer and has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work on Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle</li> </ul> NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds</li> </ul> WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU At MCC, we are committed to taking care of our greatest asset – our team.
