About the role You will contribute directly as a robotics software engineer to our product codebase, designing and building cutting-edge robotics and automation software powering our customers' automated systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, maintainable, and well-tested software that drives real-world robots. Your Responsibilities • Design, implement, and improve robotics software platforms • Drive architectural improvements and reduce technical debt in critical robotics components • Enhance the stability, performance, and robustness of our robotics solutions as they scale to new customers and use cases • Investigate and resolve complex software issues, including those reported from robotic deployments, and deliver lasting solutions • Collaborate with product owners and engineers from various disciplines to translate real-world automation challenges into well-engineered robotics solutions • Review code, mentor team members, and help raise the engineering bar across the robotics software team Essential Skills • Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Information Technology, Games Engineering, or • equivalent experience • Strong C# and C++ skills • Solid understanding of design patterns and clean code principles • Experience with code testing (unit, integration, and beyond) • Experience building industrial-grade software for robotics or automation applications•Excellent English communication skills Beneficial Skills • Experience with one or more of: motion planning, control theory, machine vision, deep learning, computer graphics (OpenGL, Vulkan), or simulation software • Experience with WPF or Avalonia, and the MVVM pattern What we offer • A dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors. • Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment. • Lots of development opportunities as we continue to grow. • Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth. • Corporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month. • Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
