We are currently searching for a DevOps Engineer (Java/Cloud): Client Overview Our Client is a leading global technology company operating a massive, large-scale distributed ecosystem. The Challenge (Responsibilities) • Drive the adoption of development services, specifically Performance Engineering, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Collaboration amongst various delivery teams. • Design and implement an effective and efficient CI/CD flow that transitions code from development to production with high quality and minimal manual effort. • Work collaboratively across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and build strong stakeholder relationships. • Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems. • Debug and optimize code, and automate routine tasks to push the boundaries of what can be done with automation. • Manage difficult situations and make critical decisions with a strong sense of urgency. Your Profile (Requirements) • BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience. • Solid experience in industry-standard CI/CD tools such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Groovy, and Chef. • Extensive hands-on experience in cloud-based architecture, preferably in Azure and PCF. • Proven experience with Java, J2EE, WebServices (SOAP/REST), Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate. • Strong background in algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design. • Experience working within an Agile Development Environment. • High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. • Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering." Desired • Experience with monitoring and containerization tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Docker, and Kubernetes is a strong plus. • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants. Languages • Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams. • Advanced Spanish. Special Notes • This is a fully remote position.
