Your impact: You will be the strategic bridge who translates business needs into reliable IT solutions. Together with a skilled team of 3 IT Engineers, you will plan and set the future tracks of our IT infrastructure and collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment. In this role, you will support the people behind Channable; your mission is to maintain our internal workspace and assist our employees; it does not involve supporting our clients. What you bring to the team: • You’re fluent in the English language as well as "business" to "tech" and can translate vice versa • You have at least 5+ years of experience within the area of IT and at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role • You have deep knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues • Solid coordination, communication, and crisis management skills • Good understanding of common Security & Compliance practices What you will do: • Plan, delegate, and prioritize our general IT workload • Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development and skill building • Dive into technical challenges alongside the team • Keep a good overview of our automations and make sure information is well documented • Support & plan the rollout of new tools, devices, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption by our end-users • Liaise on issues with large(r) impact with team members, departments, and stakeholders • Planning and reviewing OKRs • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet organizational needs and cost objectives Who are you? • You are a people-oriented individual who helps others with an open and approachable attitude • You enjoy working with modern technologies and are not afraid of learning some new tricks • You are pragmatic and empathic towards your team members and other stakeholders • You have a proactive mindset, looking for recurring issues and opportunities to improve the user experience • You bring some experience with Project- and Service management • You are not afraid of tackling larger projects and know how to break them down into smaller, achievable milestones • You have experience with structuring/restructuring teams to improve efficiency and ensure the right talent is in the right "gear" for the best output. • You have an eye for improving workflows and processes to eliminate friction and waste . Bonus points for: • Experience with any of the listed applications: • Github • Hubspot • 1Password • JumpCloud • Google Cloud / Workspace • Torii • Linux, iOS, Android • Scripting languages (PowerShell / Bash) • Any relevant certifications or proven track records The logistics: • Commitment: Minimum 32 to 40 hours per week. • Location: Hybrid workspace (minimum 2 days a week in our Utrecht office). • Right to work: Valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship required.
