Seacoast Skin Surgery | Wilmington, NC Seacoast Skin Surgery is seeking an experienced Mohs Histotechnician to join our team in Wilmington, NC. In this essential role, you’ll work closely with our Mohs surgeon to prepare precise, high-quality tissue sections that support timely and accurate patient care. Key Responsibilities • Map, color-code, cut, stain, and prepare Mohs tissue specimens • Produce microscopic slides for surgeon evaluation • Operate and maintain cryostat and laboratory equipment • Complete quality-control checks and CLIA-required documentation • Maintain accurate logs, records, slides, and supply inventory • Coordinate pathology materials for internal and external consultations Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education meeting CLIA guidelines for high-complexity testing • At least three years of Mohs histotechnology experience • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical environment Bring your expertise to a team dedicated to excellent skin cancer care.
