Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is seeking an IT System Analyst I – Report Automation & Data Integration to support a federal report automation and data modernization program.
The IT System Analyst I will serve as a hands-on report automation and data integration engineer/analyst, translating stakeholder requirements into technical solutions through development, troubleshooting, testing, implementation, and documentation.
This role emphasizes report automation, data integration, and backend development , while also supporting the broader technical needs of the program.
Role Responsibilities
The IT System Analyst I will support activities including:
• Automated data collection and report generation.
• Data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Scheduled and real-time reporting.
• Database querying and data management.
• Dashboard and report development.
• Systems and data integration.
• User-facing application and interface support.
• Data quality controls and validation.
• Metadata and data-dictionary maintenance.
• Data accessibility and reporting modernization.
• Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Business and process workflow analysis.
• Translation of reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Testing, validation, troubleshooting, and implementation support.
• Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordination with stakeholders and other technical team members.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Required Qualifications and Technical Capabilities
Candidates must have professional experience with the following technologies:

The selected candidate must be available during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday , and be able to respond to discussion and problem-resolution requests within 24 hours.

• Data quality rule engines and observability.
• Machine learning or artificial intelligence integration.
• Federal statistical or administrative data.
• DHS or other Federal systems.
• CUI/PII and Federal security requirements.
• Section 508 accessibility.
• DHS Trusted Tester certification or experience.
Additional Requirements
• U.S. citizenship is required for normal system access.
• Candidate must be able to meet applicable Federal background, security, privacy, training, and system-access requirements.
• Experience with Federal CUI and/or PII environments is preferred.
• Existing or recent DHS suitability/EOD, prior DHS badge/system access, or related Federal access experience is preferred.
• Work is primarily remote , and travel is not anticipated.
• Occasional support outside normal business hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required.
• Employment for this position is contingent upon contract award .

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
• Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills, are required
