We currently have a vacancy for a IT Operations Lead in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be remotely within EU . In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Tasks: • Follows ITIL and DevOps practices, coordinates IT operations across all the information systems and associated infrastructure of the DG, whether through DIGIT hosting services (on-premises or cloud), self-managed infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and application deployments; • Manages self-managed infrastructure components in Azure and AWS, ensuring stability, scalability, and security of operational environments; • Provides technical operations support for production systems, including database configuration, monitoring, incident management, and support for technical investigations and root cause analysis; • Produces and oversees data consistency and operational health reports; • Drives operational priorities, ensures service continuity, and coordinates work across infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams. • University degree in IT, combined with 10 years of relevant working experience in IT; • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT Operations (including coordination with hosting services, CI/CD pipeline configuration, deployments and incident management; • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud environments operations in similar environments or projects, including a minimum of 1 year in AWS and 1 year in Microsoft Azure; • At least 10 years of experience in delivering for or in a production environment operating under formal availability commitments; • At least 10 years of experience in spanning a multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure; • At least 10 years of experience in global projects that have comprised at least 10 managed services or application environments, or served at least 100 concurrent users; • At least 10 years of experience in global projects or managed service contract involving formal testing, change, release, or CI/CD pipeline management; • Below Certifications would be a strong asset: • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (foundational) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate; • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) (foundational) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104); • Excellent command of the English language.
