Greenvolt is looking for a Head of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead and further strengthen the Group’s HSE strategy across its international operations. Reporting to the Sustainability & Corporate HSE Director, this role will be responsible for driving HSE excellence across the business, translating strategic priorities into effective governance, standards, systems and programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding a strong culture of safety, risk management and continuous improvement while supporting Greenvolt’s sustainable growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation and continuous evolution of the Group HSE strategy across businesses, projects and geographies. • Develop and strengthen HSE governance, policies, standards and management systems, ensuring alignment with international best practices and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 requirements. • Drive HSE performance management through KPIs, reporting, risk management, audits and assurance programmes. • Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation. • Partner with business leaders and operational teams to embed HSE into decision-making, project development and day-to-day operations. • Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across the Group's international operations. • Support the integration of HSE priorities within Greenvolt’s Sustainability and ESG agenda, contributing to long-term value creation and responsible growth. • Represent Greenvolt in industry forums, certification processes and external stakeholder engagements, bringing evolving HSE trends and best practices into the organisation. What We Are Looking For • Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. • Health & Safety professional qualification (minimum Level VI). • 10+ years of HSE experience in corporate, multi-site and international environments. • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. • Experience in renewable energy, energy, construction, infrastructure or similar operational environments is highly valued. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and strategic thinking capabilities. • Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus. • Availability for international travel.
