As a BI Developer, you’ll be a vital part of the analytics and reporting team responsible for designing and delivering scalable, insightful, and visually impactful dashboards. You will primarily work with Tableau, but will also use Power BI and SQL-based tools to support our expanding data needs across various departments, including Product, Finance, Operations, and Compliance. This is not just a dashboard-building role — we're looking for someone who brings storytelling, governance, and documentation to their BI practice. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI. ● Gather and refine business requirements by engaging with key stakeholders. ● Perform data modelling, SQL scripting, and complex calculations (e.g., DAX for Power BI). ● Develop and maintain well-documented BI assets, including data dictionaries, report specifications, and user guides. ● Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business and executive users. ● Promote BI adoption across departments through training, support, and collaboration. ● Enforce best practices for version control, user access, design standards, and KPI alignment. ● Ensure alignment of reporting solutions with data governance and compliance policies. ● Optimize dashboard performance and troubleshoot integration or visualization issues. Have 3–6 years of professional experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar. ● Have strong expertise with Tableau or other BI Reporting tools (ideally at enterprise scale) and Power BI, including: ○ Data blending and joins ○ Advanced calculations and scripting ○ Drill-down and interactive features ○ Data source management ● Are proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, relational datasets. ● Understand data modelling concepts, including star/snowflake schemas, ETL pipelines, and KPI design. ● Have experience writing clear business documentation and building self-service BI tools. ● Communicate technical ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders. ● Are detail-oriented and take pride in producing accurate, user-friendly dashboards. ● Preferably have domain exposure in fintech, banking, or payment ecosystems (a strong advantage but not mandatory).
