At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing, and we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our UniQue Software Development team.
In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design and code software components, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.

For the Junior Software Engineer position we expect you to:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based web applications.
• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
• Use Git for version control and follow established branching and code review processes.
• Work with Jira for task management, issue tracking, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies.
What do you need to succeed in this position?
Your experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have:
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of working experience
• Experience in Java Development and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Java EE.
• Team spirit and good communication skills (Greek & English).
Nice to Have
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization concepts.
