To develop, standardize and automate the creation of Work Instruction (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and manufacturing knowledge assets. The role combines engineering domain knowledge, software development, AI, and automation capabilities to improve documentation efficiency, capture engineering knowledge, and enable data-driven generation of WI/SOP from engineering information such as TPD, BOM, routing, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: • Develop, review, and maintain WI, RFQs, SOPs, and engineering documentation by translating complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. • Collaborate with engineering teams to capture manufacturing knowledge, best practices, and operational requirements while ensuring documentation accuracy, standardization, and effective document control. • Gain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machine build activities, engineering workflows, BOM structures, routing information, and TPD requirements to support high-quality engineering documentation. • Drive documentation digitalization by identifying opportunities to automate and standardize document creation using AI and workflow automation technologies. • Develop AI-assisted documentation solutions, document templates, automation tools, and document generation workflows using Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies. • Integrate engineering data sources such as BOM, TPD, process routing, and equipment databases to improve documentation efficiency, consistency, and scalability. • Build and maintain engineering knowledge assets and documentation standards to support knowledge sharing and business continuity. • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Process & Manufacturing Engineering, Automation & Optimization, Digital, and Operations teams, to deliver innovative documentation and digital solutions that support manufacturing excellence. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline. • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, engineering documentation, manufacturing digitalization, process improvement, or related fields. • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering specifications. • Strong technical writing and communication skills. • Knowledge of Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI and automation tools would be an advantage. • Passion for AI, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
