Kepak McIntosh Donald are looking for Production Operatives to join our team on a full-time basis, working around 40h/week , Monday to Friday, with a 6am start (need to be flexible with finishing time).
Role Purpose
Responsible for supporting the manufacturing and production process through operating machinery, packing products, monitoring quality standards, and managing stock movement and rotation, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality control procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
• Moving and handling meat carcasses and products safely within the production and storage areas.
• Working on a production line packing, labelling, and preparing meat products in line with production and customer requirements.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
• Operating production machinery and equipment in line with company procedures and safety standards.

Required Requirements
• Able to perform physically demanding work involving standing and moving throughout the day on a production line
• Able to lift up to 25 kg
• Able to work in a cooler environment
• Basic conversational English skills
• Has the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Available to start work at 6:00am Monday–Friday, with finish time varying based on production volumes
Preferred Requirements
• Experience working in a production-line or factory environment with pace and throughput targets
• Awareness of hygiene and food safety practices in a food production environment
• Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety rules in an operational environment
