Role Victor Energy Ltd is a powerline contractor with over 20 years experience building Alberta’s electrical infrastructure, recently acquired by Java Holdings Ltd. Victor Energy is seeking a Project Scheduler to be responsible for the implementation, development and administration of project schedules, for both project specific and portfolio project reporting. Responsibilities • Assist the Director of Projects in the development and implementation of Microsoft Project process. • Assist the Director of Projects in the development and implementation of P6 process. • Produce project schedules and reporting analytics in Microsoft Project. • Produce project schedules and reporting analytics in Primavera P6. • Develop project schedules at the bid stage and support the transition as required for project handoff. • Communicate with Project teams with weekly updates to their respective schedules. • Train staff on Microsoft Project and P6 scheduling as required. • Post-secondary education or diploma in Engineering, Business Management or related field is required. • Experience in large project schedules ($150M+) would be considered an asset. • Experience in utility or linear construction projects would be considered an asset. • Microsoft Project Training and a minimum of three years of experience developing project schedules for a construction industry. • Experience utilizing Microsoft Project with links to other Microsoft Suite programs such as Planner, Teams, and SharePoint would be an asset. • P6 Training and a minimum of two years experience developing P6 schedules. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other data base applications. • Attention to details is essential, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
