Position Overview The Manufacturing Engineer 1 provides technical support for Assembly operations, focusing on process, tooling, and equipment issues. This role documents, implements, and improves standard work, balances workload across production bays to help meet production targets, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive solutions that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities •      Provide daily technical support for production, including troubleshooting, root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and documentation follow-up within Assembly and/or In-Process Validation (IPV) areas (automated testing, fluid fill, and A/C charging equipment) •      Document, implement, and improve standard work •      Balance workload across production bays to help meet production targets •      Support enhancements and improvements to process, tooling, and equipment •      Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues, improve and document processes, and implement tooling and equipment enhancements Team Structure •      Member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, working alongside other Engineers, Production Planners, and Robot Technicians •      Part of the larger Technical Services and Operations organization, partnering with Facilities & Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, and Safety to support manufacturing performance and equipment reliability Work Environment •      Onsite manufacturing environment, with time split between workstation activities, validation documentation, equipment reviews, and hands-on floor support Education & Experience Requirements •      Bachelor's degree in Engineering required and 0-2 years of experience Required Skills •      Mechanical engineering fundamentals with the ability to read drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications •      Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes •      Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills •      Detail-oriented, proactive, organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working with production teams in a hands-on manufacturing environment Desired Skills •      Experience in root cause investigation, issue resolution, data analysis, documentation, and cross-functional team collaboration •      Ability to support assembly and manufacturing processes, including torque tool applications, lifting processes, time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and standard work development •      Experience with Creo, AutoCAD, and Geneo •      Ability to analyze manufacturing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable process and equipment solutions to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives -or- working knowledge of automated test systems, fluid handling and fill equipment, refrigerant and A/C charging processes, production equipment controls and interfaces, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
