What the Role Is At the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) - Communications Group, we tell Singapore’s story — one that’s grounded in trust, connection and authenticity. We’re looking for someone who believes in the power of digital storytelling to strengthen public trust, foster understanding, and bring Singaporeans closer to the work of government. If you have a sharp eye for stories that resonate and a passion for using social media to engage meaningfully with people, this role is for you. What You Will Be Working On • Conceptualise and create authentic, high-quality content for social media and other online platforms. • Build connection and trust through creative storytelling that reflects Singapore’s diversity, values and voice. • Monitor and manage PMO’s digital channels, ensuring they remain engaging, relevant and responsive. • Support live online coverage of key events and moments that matter to Singaporeans. • Scan the digital landscape for emerging trends, conversations and opportunities. • Analyse data and insights to continually sharpen strategy and engagement. • Collaborate across teams to tell stories that inform, inspire and unite. What We Are Looking For • 2–3 years of experience in communications, digital media or related fields. Fresh grads are welcome to apply • A good degree or diploma in a communications-related discipline. • Strong writing and communication skills; fluency in a second language is a plus. • Deep familiarity with social media platforms, online culture and audience behaviour. • Sound socio-political awareness and understanding of current affairs. • Analytical skills and curiosity to understand what works — and why. • Photography, videography or website management skills will be an advantage. • A collaborative, positive and professional attitude. • Willingness to work shifts (including nights, weekends and public holidays) and travel for work.
