📌 EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
• Employment type: through 3rd party/ vendor
• Duration: 24 months fixed term (subject to change based on business needs)
• Work setup: Full onsite with dedicated full office hours based in BSD, Tangerang.
THE ROLE
• Own delivery execution across multiple concurrent engineering programs or large-scale technical initiatives.
• Drive technical program planning, milestone definition, sequencing, and execution tracking across engineering teams.
• Partner with technical leads to clarify architecture decisions, system dependencies, API contracts, data flows, migration plans, and release constraints.
• Identify, track, and actively mitigate technical, delivery, security, quality, and dependency risks before they become blockers.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, unresolved technical dependencies, scope trade-offs, and cross-team execution issues within Engineering.
• Coordinate cross-team and cross-functional dependencies across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, data, security, and product stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering execution aligns with product priorities, business objectives, technical strategy, and production-readiness standards.
• Drive technical readiness reviews for major releases, including test coverage, observability, rollout plans, rollback strategy, incident readiness, and operational handover.
• Track practical developer-productivity improvements, including CI/CD, documentation, release process, and selective AI-assisted workflows, using delivery, quality, and adoption metrics.
• Provide clear, data-driven delivery updates to engineering and executive leadership.
• Establish, standardize, and continuously improve program and delivery management practices.
• Create an environment of high trust and credibility with Engineering, Product, and executive leadership.
Documentation Ownership & Governance
• Own program-level documentation, including delivery plans, timelines, dependency maps, risk registers, and decision logs.
• Act as the system of record owner for program execution and delivery artifacts.
• Ensure technical documentation is produced, reviewed, and maintained, including architecture notes, API contracts, integration plans, data migration plans, operational runbooks, and AI-assisted workflow documentation where relevant.
• Define documentation standards and technical artifacts required at each delivery milestone.
• Enforce documentation completeness and quality as part of delivery readiness and go-live criteria.
• Use documentation as a mechanism to reduce execution risk, ambiguity, and context loss.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-team engineering programs end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system design, distributed systems, APIs, data flows, cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, QA automation, and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to engage deeply in technical discussions, ask precise questions, identify gaps, and translate engineering trade-offs into program decisions without acting as primary implementer.
• Experience managing technical dependencies across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, security, or data teams.
• Working familiarity with developer productivity, engineering tooling, CI/CD, observability, release management, documentation standards, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Ability to create and maintain technical program artifacts such as architecture decision records, dependency maps, delivery plans, risk registers, launch checklists, and operational readiness plans.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
Nice to have:
• Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer, solution architect, platform engineer, or similar technical role.
• Experience with large-scale platform, infrastructure, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, distributed systems, data platforms, observability, incident management, or engineering productivity programs.
