<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">As a member of the critical infrastructure team, you will help design, build, activate, and maintain some of the world's most technically advanced manufacturing facilities. You will be able to operate with autonomy to solve diverse and complex problems, excel at managing multiple projects at a time and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work with other infrastructure engineers, technicians, and internal customers to support these goals and have the opportunity to drive real global impact, ultimately leading to making life multiplanetary. The position is based in Hawthorne, CA.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems in peak operating condition, and to develop/update detailed work instructions for proper equipment preventative maintenance dedicated to ensuring zero unplanned interruption in services to employees and customers</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Install, maintain and repair electrical support equipment on facilities systems including medium to low voltage transformers, panels, substations, switch gear, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, Sag correctors, automatic transfer switches, generators, and fly wheels</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform electrical modifications, install electrical wiring and components to design and code specifications</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform failure assessments and day-to-day safety inspections - making recommendations to the supervisor as required</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform hands-on shop work and/or on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, troubleshooting, reassembly, and testing of electrical equipment</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Present information on equipment maintenance statuses for all critical facilities as required for internal and external customers</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Open, track and resolve electronic work tickets on SpaceX systems</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Follow and ensure site compliance with all applicable SpaceX, local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and laws</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Troubleshoot new and existing electrical systems, including new and existing machinery</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Test electrical circuits to ensure their operability, phase rotation and conductivity</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Operation of test equipment like volt/ohmmeters, meggers and circuit tracers</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">High school diploma or GED or equivalent certificate</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">3+ years of professional experience in commercial equipment wiring, maintenance, and repair</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Fire systems knowledge with NICET certification</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Journeyman or master electrician license </span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Demonstrated skill in practicing safety requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards when working with hazardous energy, heavy loads, and when working overhead</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with 480/277 volt and 208/120 volt systems</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to use a variety of electrician's hand tools including Sawzall, conduit bender, wire-tugger, hand/hydraulic punch, spade lug crimper, clamp on current, meter multi-meter and other measuring and testing instruments</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair various devices and controls</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to use a variety of electrician’s hand tools as well as measuring and testing instruments</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Demonstrable knowledge and/or understanding of codes, rules, regulations and standards of electrical equipment</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to read and understand technical manuals and reports</span></li>
