The Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist will lead the operational management of our global employee benefits portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring benefits are competitive, cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with our Total Rewards strategy. The specialist will oversee benefits administration, vendor management, budgeting, benefit launches in new locations, automating benefits-related processes and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Budgeting, Cost Control & Benefits Portfolio Management
• Own annual & quarterly benefits budgeting, cost planning, forecasting, and ongoing cost control.
• Analyze utilization, trends, and vendor reports to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support Finance with accurate accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Vendor Management & Renewals:
• Lead vendor relationships and service quality oversight across all benefit programs.
• Manage renewal cycles: negotiations, pricing reviews, and contractual updates, conduct RFPs, evaluate new vendors, and manage transitions when changing providers.
• Ensure vendors meet SLAs, compliance obligations, and expected service standards.
Benefits Implementation in New Locations:
• Lead benefit setup in new countries: research, design, benchmarking, legal compliance, and roll-out.
• Select and negotiate with new benefit providers in emerging markets.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure a smooth implementation and communication plan.
Market Benchmarking, Analytics & Strategy:
• Conduct ongoing benchmarking to ensure benefits competitiveness in all operating regions.
• Analyze market data, employee feedback, and usage patterns to recommend design changes.
• Support the evolution of the benefits strategy with data-driven recommendations.
Benefits Administration:
• Serve as escalation point for complex employee benefit issues, exceptions, and claim challenges.
• Oversee compliance with statutory benefits requirements (e.g., pensions, local reporting).
Requirements:
• 5+ years in benefits or Total Rewards roles in multinational organizations.
• Expertise in benefits administration, compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Experience setting up benefits in new markets and managing transitions between vendors. Background in benefits benchmarking, analytics, and strategic recommendation.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-regional benefits topics with attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing, international environment.
