ROLE PURPOSE:
The Risk and Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Risk and Compliance Manager in strengthening and monitoring internal controls, managing risks, and promoting ethical practices across the Country Programme. This role ensures the effective implementation of compliance and assurance activities, contributing to the integrity and accountability of operations.
Working collaboratively with departments such as finance, procurement, HR, awards, and supply chain, the Coordiantor conducts reviews, assessments, to ensure adherence to SCI policies, donor regulations, and local laws.
The role also supports partner compliance, capacity building, and fraud investigations and awareness initiatives.
In addition, the Coordinator contributes to risk management processes including SCARF, COSFA, and Top Risk registers, and supports ethical programming efforts.
