<h4>About the Role</h4>
<p>As a member of the Family Support & Safeguarding Team, you'll work with children and families who require longer-term support, intervention and protection. Your responsibilities will include:</p>

<div>Manage a caseload appropriate to your level of experience, ensuring children and families are fully involved in decision-making.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Work directly with families using the <strong>Family Support and Safeguarding Workbook</strong> and a strengths-based practice approach.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Complete child and family assessments and identify appropriate support and intervention plans.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Undertake Section 47 investigations.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Prepare and submit high-quality reports, including child protection conference reports and court reports for care proceedings.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Deliver services in line with relevant legislation, statutory guidance and local procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together and safeguarding frameworks.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Maintain accurate and timely case records using ICT systems and ensure compliance with performance and recording requirements.</div>
</li>
<li value="1">
<div>Contribute to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare through effective assessment, planning and intervention.</div>

<p>We are looking for passionate and committed social workers who are motivated to deliver excellent services for children and families. To be considered, you will have:</p>

<li value="1">A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)</li>
<li value="2">Registration with <strong data-lexical-text="true">Social Work England</strong></li>
<li value="3">Completion of ASYE</li>
<li value="4">Experience within Children's Social Care, safeguarding or family support services</li>
<li value="5">Strong assessment, communication and relationship building skills</li>
<li value="6">A commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice</li>
<li value="7">Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle<br><br></li>
