We are looking for a State & Local Tax Manager to join the Tax team in our Bangalore or Mumbai offices.   What you'll be doing: The State & Local Tax Manager is a key player supporting the state and local tax compliance and reporting areas that are under the team’s responsibility. This role reports into the Vice President of State & Local Tax and will involve supporting and assisting the team where applicable.   Role Responsibilities included: <ul> <li>Oversee and mentor a team of four Tax Seniors</li> <li>Review state & local tax returns for US legal entities (corporations, partnerships, LLCs)</li> <li>Review state tax modifications for combined and separate tax returns</li> <li>Review state apportionment calculations</li> <li>Review state extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments calculations</li> <li>Oversee e-filing of state & local tax returns, extensions, and estimates</li> <li>Review state current and deferred tax provision calculations, state blended deferred tax rate, and return-to-provision adjustments for all US subsidiaries</li> <li>Assist with completion of other tax provision schedules including state tax reserves</li> <li>Assist with state income tax audits and respond to state tax notices</li> <li>Manage information requests from other internal and external teams</li> </ul>   What you'll need: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or Taxation.</li> <li>Seven(7) or more years of experience into SALT</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of US state & local tax rules and tax reporting obligations.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Strong problem solving and organizational skills; high level of attention to details.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Self-motivated, comprehends and responds constructively to instructions.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Capable to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Experience using Corptax required</li> </ul>     Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
