*Be Part of Our Success Story as We Expand and Evolve*
Purpose:
As a Mechatronic Design Engineer, you will contribute to the development of machine automation, motion-control systems, test equipment and qualification tooling for semiconductor manufacturing and other high-tech applications.
Working in multidisciplinary development teams, you will develop and commission PLC, HMI and motion-control solutions, translating system requirements into robust machine-control functionality. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical and system engineers throughout development, integration, validation and production ramp-up.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement PLC, HMI and motion-control solutions based on system requirements, using platforms such as Beckhoff TwinCAT and Python.
• Translate system and subsystem requirements into structured software and machine-control functionality.
• Create and maintain software documentation, flow diagrams, functional descriptions and test procedures.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot motion-control systems, servo drives and machine automation components, including software debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and system engineers to support system integration, commissioning, validation and qualification.
• Design, develop and support test and qualification equipment for product verification and production needs.
• Support factory automation initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and operational performance in collaboration with manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during development, integration and production ramp-up.
• Apply software quality practices and version-control methodologies using tools such as Bitbucket or equivalent.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Systems & Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 -5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, machine control, motion control or mechatronic system development.
• Experience in PLC programming and HMI development, preferably using Beckhoff TwinCAT (Structured Text).
• Knowledge of motion-control systems, servo systems and industrial automation; familiarity with EtherCAT-based system architectures is an advantage.
• Experience with simulation, debugging or performance analysis using Python, MATLAB, Simulink or equivalent tools.
• Experience using version-control systems such as Bitbucket, Git or equivalent.
• Experience with test, validation and qualification systems is beneficial.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, precision engineering systems or other high-tech capital equipment is preferred.
• Strong hands-on engineering, machine integration and commissioning capabilities, with a structured approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
