$25-$35/hr. Position Summary : The Quality Manufacturing Quality Specialist at APM Manufacturing will ensure compliance to customer-specific aerospace requirements. This role supports internal and external quality processes, leads continuous improvement efforts, and plays a vital part in quality planning, audits, and root cause investigations to uphold the integrity of our precision manufacturing standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : • Collaborate with production, planning, and engineering to improve processes and ensure quality. • Analyze quality trends and participate in RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) processes. • Evaluate supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) including quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost metrics; develop and maintain a supplier grading/scorecard system • Support training of quality and production staff in inspection and quality procedures. • Conduct internal process and quality system audits in accordance with AS9100 and NADCAP. • Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) per AS9102. • Create and compile cert packs for shipping, ensuring accurate customer documentation. • Upload quality documents to customer portals as required. • Review contracts and support planning with a quality focus. • Support supplier quality activities including material buy-off and audit assistance. • Maintain calibration logs and ensure inspection device compliance. • Oversee shelf-life control for critical materials. • Participate in customer audits and address quality-related inquiries. • Assist in document control and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Qualifications : • Understanding of AS9100, NADCAP or other manufacturing quality and compliance frameworks. • Experience with RCCA methodologies and conducting/participating in audits. • Understanding of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and quality inspection techniques. • Experience with preparing FAIRs, managing cert packages, and uploading to customer portals. • Business writing and documentation skills with ability to interpret contracts and quality requirements. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS) and Microsoft Office
