The position will support both day-to-day operational needs and continued modernization and expansion of the DEMES Salesforce environment. Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions: • Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions supporting the FDEM DEMES platform. • Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flow, Flow Orchestration, validation rules, approval processes, and other native platform capabilities. • Configure and enhance Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Lightning record pages, Path, permission sets, permission set groups, sharing settings, and other security controls. • Develop and maintain solutions supporting complex business processes, including case and incident management, service level management, approval routing, grants management, and other emergency management workflows. • Support Salesforce Service Cloud (case management, Knowledge, Entitlements and Milestones), Experience Cloud portals, Public Sector Solutions, and related platform functionality. • Configure, support, and test Salesforce integrations with third-party and enterprise systems, including field mapping specifications, sync design, and cross-system workflows. • Read and troubleshoot Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), partnering with developers on more complex custom development. • Use SOQL, reporting, and Salesforce data modeling techniques to support application functionality, reporting, data migration, and data management requirements. • Support deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments using Salesforce CLI, Git and other comparable release management tools. • Plan and execute testing, including test case design, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), end-to-end, and integration testing; triage and resolve defects. • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, configuration issues, integration issues, and production support requests. • Lead or participate in discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and process mapping, and translate stakeholder and business requirements into Salesforce solutions. • Present solutions and progress to client leadership and stakeholders through demonstrations and walkthroughs. • Identify opportunities to modernize existing configurations, reduce technical debt, and improve platform maintainability and scalability. • Develop and maintain requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment documentation. • Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect, project leadership, technical team members, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, development standards, data models, security, automation, and integration capabilities. • Proficiency with Salesforce Flow and declarative configuration; working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, version control, testing, and deployment practices. • Ability to translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions. • Ability to independently develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, and deploy moderately complex Salesforce applications. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues and identify practical solutions. • Ability to evaluate technical alternatives with consideration for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users. • Ability to coordinate workstreams or small teams, such as testing team
