This internship is currently open within our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team :
Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) is one of TuxCare’s key products, enabling organizations to securely continue using Linux distributions and software languages that have reached end of life or no longer receive standard security updates. ELS delivers vulnerability patches for unsupported versions of CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and Oracle Linux, as well as for runtimes and frameworks such as PHP, Python, Spring, Angular/AngularJS, Django, and Flask.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

What we’re looking for:
• Some C programming and debugging skills
• Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management
• Experience with GNU/Linux operating system (CLI) and shell scripting
• Basic experience with building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues
• English proficiency at B1 level or above (you'll be communicating a lot in English, especially in writing);
• Self-starter who’s hungry to learn;
• Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong basics;
• Able to read and reason about C / systems code, reviewing and validating patches is central;
• Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures;
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants day-to-day; basic prompting and able to spot when the output is wrong;
• Broad awareness of the current AI-assisted development landscape - different models for different tasks, common tooling (nice-to-have)
