Responsibilities: • Executes electricity trading transactions in the markets with the aim of optimal portfolio positioning • Monitors European electricity markets and responds promptly to changes in supply, demand and prices • Analyzes real-time renewable energy sources (RES) generation forecasts and energy demand to support trading decisions • Collaborates with the market analysis team to integrate data and enhance the accuracy of decision-making • Contributes to the development of trading strategies based on data analysis and market trends • Acts as a dispatcher for renewable energy sources (RES) plants when immediate intervention is required due to market conditions (e.g., negative prices, system constraints) • Oversees the availability of renewable energy (RES) generation units and communicates with Producers and System Operators (ADMIE, HEDNO) • Bachelor’s degree from a University in Sciences • Master’s degree related to Energy will be considered an additional qualification • At least five (5) years of relevant experience as an energy portfolio Τrader • Understanding of the operation of European electricity markets (Day-Ahead, Intraday, Balancing) • Energy Trading certification • Knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python) • Knowledge of Power BI will be considered an additional qualification • Knowledge of Generative AI and/or Agentic AI frameworks will be considered an additional qualification • Knowledge of algorithmic trading software will be considered an additional qualification • Knowledge of data management, visualization and analysis tools will be considered an additional qualification • Good knowledge of the English language • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet • Availability in flexible working hours • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact) Competencies: • Accountability and result orientation • Cross-functional collaboration • Problem-solving and decision-making • Influence • Customer orientation • Change management
