You’ll find our  700+ team across 12 regions and 9 time zones. About the Role We’re looking for a  Medior QA Engineer  to join our Hungary-based engineering team. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the quality of our software, owning testing for assigned features and helping the team continuously improve its QA practices. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Automation QA Engineers in an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing functional, exploratory, integration and regression tests, translating requirements into test scenarios, performing API testing and using SQL and logs to investigate issues. You’ll also contribute to improving our testing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and supporting Continuous Delivery practices across the team. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Team Lead, Budapest, Hungary. What You'll Do • Own testing for assigned features, from requirements through release • Design and execute  functional, exploratory, integration and regression tests • Perform  API testing  and validate data using SQL • Investigate issues using logs and diagnostic information • Identify regression scenarios and opportunities for automation • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Automation QA Engineers • Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage and Continuous Delivery practices • Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning and refinement What We're Looking For • 3+ years of QA/testing experience , ideally with web applications • Hands-on experience with  API testing  using Postman or similar tools • Practical  SQL  skills and experience analysing logs • Understanding of testing methodologies such as  TDD/BDD • Experience with  Agile and Continuous Delivery  practices • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work effectively with  remote and global teams • Financial services or payments testing experience is a plus Why you will enjoy working with us • Competitive salary structure including company bonus scheme • Genuinely collaborative and friendly culture • Flexible and hybrid working • Remote working option - work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year • Ongoing personal development & learning opportunities • 3 paid volunteering days per year & Workplace Giving Program • Periodic recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance and achievements • Frequent events and celebrations • Employee Assistance Program & Wellbeing Initiatives • Convenient and cozy office located near Astoria at KLUSTER Coworking More about Pepperstone We’re a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform.
