As a Solution Architect at Prophix, you sit at the intersection of financial expertise and technical depth — translating complex client requirements into elegant, effective Prophix One system designs that deliver real business value. You'll work closely with implementation consultants, Sales Engineers, and Product Management to ensure every customer has a credible, well-supported path to success. Your impact extends beyond individual projects: you help sharpen Prophix's delivery methodology, elevate the broader team's capabilities, and bring the voice of the customer directly into product and go-to-market conversations. What You Will Do •  Elicit, analyze, and translate client business requirements into detailed Prophix One system designs and supporting documentation that guide successful implementations • Coach and mentor delivery consultants throughout project execution, sharing hands-on product expertise to raise the quality and consistency of every engagement • Conduct design reviews and model audits on active implementations, identifying risks early and ensuring designs align with established best practices • Maintain and evolve implementation methodology, design standards, and a shared knowledge base that the broader delivery team can learn from and build on • Act as a customer advocate to Product Management, surfacing field insights, recurring capability gaps, and emerging customer needs that inform the product roadmap • Partner with Sales Engineers on proof-of-concept builds and pre-sales technical analysis, helping prospective customers see a clear and credible path to value • Contribute vertical industry knowledge and functional specification input to Sales and Marketing, supporting a more informed and compelling buyer experience • Manage multiple concurrent client engagements and internal initiatives, balancing delivery quality, stakeholder expectations, and project timelines without dropping the ball What You Will Bring We hire for potential as much as experience. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree with 4–6 years of experience in a business or technical consulting role, plus 6+ years of experience working within a complex software environment • Strong business analysis skills, including hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and translating business needs into technical system designs • Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation, along with corporate budgeting and forecasting processes • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and finance-oriented stakeholders • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment • Legally entitled to work in Canada, with a valid passport and ability to travel internationally as needed • Comfortable using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, and data review; adaptable to new tools and evolving workflows Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with a CPM or financial planning platform such as Prophix, Anaplan, Vena, Planful, or OneStream • Experience with SaaS-based business solutions and familiarity with the ERP, CRM, or BI markets • Exposure to data modeling, dimensional structures, or ETL concepts applied in a financial context • Background in corporate finance or FP&A prior to transitioning into a technical or consulting role • Experience developing and delivering enablement content or internal training programs at scale
