Our client based in Bristol is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join their North and West Locality Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to work alongside another Team Manager in leading a busy Adult Social Care locality service, with a particular focus on performance management, service delivery, KPI achievement, and high-quality social work practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring safe and effective support is delivered to adults, carers, and families. Working within a fast-paced and challenging environment, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team undertaking Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding interventions, and strengths-based support planning across a diverse adult population. This role requires a resilient and resourceful manager who can effectively balance operational demands, service improvement, workforce development, and strategic priorities whilst promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellent customer outcomes. What will your responsibilities be?  <ul> <li>Providing day-to-day operational leadership and management of the North and West Locality Service alongside a fellow Team Manager.</li> <li>Leading staff to deliver high-quality, strengths-based Adult Social Care services in accordance with legislation, policy, and best practice.</li> <li>Driving service performance through effective implementation and monitoring of KPIs, performance targets, and quality assurance processes.</li> <li>Managing, supervising, and supporting Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Social Care Practitioners to achieve positive outcomes for citizens and carers.</li> <li>Leading on performance management, attendance management, supervision, appraisal processes, and workforce development activities.</li> <li>Supporting practitioners with complex casework, safeguarding concerns, risk management, and decision-making.</li> <li>Coordinating safeguarding enquiries, providing advice and guidance to practitioners, and chairing safeguarding strategy meetings where required.</li> <li>Ensuring statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Adult Safeguarding legislation, and Best Interest processes are met.</li> <li>Promoting a strengths-based approach that maximises independence, resilience, and community-based solutions for adults with care and support needs.</li> <li>Managing service resources effectively, including oversight of budgets and ensuring value for money across service delivery.</li> <li>Working collaboratively with health partners, community organisations, housing providers, and other stakeholders to support integrated service delivery.</li> <li>Contributing to service development, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement across Adult Social Care.</li> <li>Monitoring and analysing performance data, ensuring accurate recording and effective use of information systems.</li> <li>Supporting hospital discharge pathways, community-based interventions, and mutual aid arrangements across service areas where required.</li> <li>Deputising for senior managers as appropriate and contributing to strategic and operational planning. </li> </ul> Qualifications and Experience:  To be successful in this role you must have;   <ul> <li>Professional Qualification: Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or another relevant Health and Social Care qualification.</li> <li>Registration: Must hold current professional registration with the relevant governing body where applicable.</li> <li>Experience: Significant experience within Adult Social Care, including leadership, supervision, and management responsibilities.</li> <li>Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage teams within a complex Adult Social Care environment.</li> <li>Legislation Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Adult Safeguarding legislation, Best Interest processes, and Health and Social Care eligibility criteria.</li> <li>Performance Management: Experience managing KPIs, quality assurance frameworks, audits, and service performance improvement.</li> <li>Safeguarding Experience: Extensive experience supporting and overseeing safeguarding enquiries and risk management processes.</li> <li>Budget Management: Experience managing or contributing to financial management, resource allocation, and budget oversight.</li> <li>Multi-Agency Working: Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with health partners, local services, and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.</li> <li>IT Skills: Strong working knowledge of performance reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications. </li> </ul> Why Liquid Personnel?  <ul> <li> Free DBS and compliance service</li> <li>Twice weekly payroll and ‘Faster Pay’ service, getting you paid more quickly</li> <li>Access to exclusive roles that aren’t available from other agencies </li> <li>Free access to Liquid’s exclusive social work training and CPD portal </li> <li>Your own dedicated consultant with extensive social work knowledge </li> <li>Access to a wide selection of social work positions across the UK </li> <li>“Refer a Friend” bonus – get £500 for each social worker you refer who we successfully place* </li> <li>“Find your own job” bonus – get £250 for bringing your own position to us * </li> </ul> Liquid Personnel is an equal opportunities employer.
