<p class="x_MsoNormal">Liquid Personnel is recruiting a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Manual Handling Team within Suffolk Adult Social Care for a short-term assignment focused on manual handling assessments and care package reviews.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Delivering safe and timely front-line OT services across the directorate</li>
<li>Supporting triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to manage OT waiting lists</li>
<li>Advising and supporting external care providers on safe moving and handling practices</li>
<li>Reviewing care packages to ensure best value and optimal use of equipment</li>
<li>Assessing and reducing double-handed care packages where appropriate</li>
<li>Providing mutual aid to other OT areas as needed</li>
<li>Completing OT assessments and reviews in line with best practice</li>
</ul>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">To be successful in this role you must have, </p>
<ul>
<li>Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy</li>
<li>HCPC registration</li>
<li>Experience to Band 6 level or equivalent</li>
<li>Manual handling expertise essential</li>
<li>Local authority experience preferred (NHS also considered)</li>
<li>Must be local to Lowestoft or able to commute daily</li>
