As part of an ongoing transformation, Polène is looking for a PR & Influence Specialist to contribute to the development of the Maison’s visibility and engagement across Japan.
As a PR Specialist , you will work under the direction of the PR Manager and contribute to PR activities for the Japanese market. You will work closely with internal teams, as well as celebrities, influencers, PR agencies and other external partners.
The team operates in an international, dynamic and fast-growing environment, with numerous projects to coordinate simultaneously. Based in our Tokyo office, in the heart of Ginza, you will contribute to enhancing Polène’s desirability and brand awareness among key audiences across Japan.
You will thrive in this role if you want to:
• Manage day-to-day press and PR activities for the Japanese market , including distributing press releases, preparing PR materials, and supporting the organization and execution of press events. You will also review, proofread and coordinate the distribution of Japan-specific PR and marketing content, including LINE and newsletters.
• Build and maintain relationships with celebrities, KOLs and influencer s through gifting, paid partnerships and collaboration initiatives. You will support the research and outreach of relevant profiles, coordinate activations, and welcome guests at store meetings and events, as well as manage follow-up communication.
• Coordinate and execute PR events and initiatives, including new product launches and other PR activations. You will manage timelines, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and support preparation and on-site operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Track and report on PR performance, including media coverage, social media impact, gifting and influencer activities. You will consolidate monthly KPIs and activity results for internal reporting and contribute to improving future PR initiatives through performance analysis.
You will excel in this role if:
• You have 3+ years of PR experience in the fashion or beauty industry , with luxury experience preferred , gained either in-house or within a PR/advertising agency.
• You have established relationships with celebrities, influencers, KOLs, and other industry stakeholders .
• You have proven experience developing and managing celebrity and influencer partnerships , from relationship building to campaign and event execution.
• You have native-level Japanese proficiency , with excellent written and verbal communication skills , as well as business-level English proficiency .
• You have strong project management and organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment , adapt quickly to change, and take initiative as a proactive self-starter .
