Job Description
3+ years experience in release and/or project management.
Good knowledge and practical experience with software development processes
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion
Good relationship management
Experience in dependency and risk management
Experience in project planning, reporting
Very proficient in English.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Job Responsibilities
As a release manager, you will be responsible for
Detailed Release Planning according to established processes and based on inputs from Customer, Project manager, Development, and QA teams.
Maintain Project Release Plan to keep it consistent with process changes and ongoing releases.
Track project execution and open working items, issues.
Prepare status reports and drive regular Release Status Meetings.
Maintain the project documentation library and document approval flows. Control document quality, stakeholders list, etc. (Documents are being prepared by respective roles and its content being reviewed by stakeholders)
Lead and coordinate project team activities
Maintain risk and issue registers, Quality improvement plan.
Control that team is following the processes.
