After Hours Pediatrics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will operate radiology equipment safely, obtain accurate diagnostic images, and provide a calm and supportive experience for pediatric patients and their families. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine and pediatric X-ray and radiographic examinations. • Position patients appropriately to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images. • Operate and maintain radiology equipment according to established procedures. • Follow radiation safety standards and infection-control protocols. • Explain procedures to children and parents in a clear, age-appropriate manner. • Help reduce patient anxiety through compassionate communication and reassurance. • Review images for quality and ensure required views are completed. • Maintain accurate patient and imaging records. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
