<p><span data-contrast="auto">Liquid Personnel is recruiting a </span><span data-contrast="auto">Children’s </span><span data-contrast="auto">Social Worker to join its client’s </span>Assessment <span data-contrast="auto">team, based in Buckinghamshire.<br></span></p>
<p>The successful candidate will undertake high-quality statutory assessments of children and families where there are concerns about a child's welfare, safety, development or family circumstances.</p>
<p>You will work directly with children, parents, carers and partner agencies to understand family circumstances, identify strengths and risks, and determine the most appropriate support and intervention required.</p>
<p>The role requires a confident practitioner who can manage a varied caseload, complete assessments within statutory timescales and make sound professional decisions that promote positive outcomes for children and families.</p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Undertake comprehensive statutory assessments of children and families.</li>
<li>Respond to referrals and assess the level of need, risk and appropriate intervention.</li>
<li>Undertake child and family assessments in line with relevant legislation and council procedures.</li>
<li>Visit children and families in their homes and other appropriate settings.</li>
<li>Ensure children's wishes, feelings and lived experiences are central to assessments and decision-making.</li>
<li>Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action where children may be at risk of significant harm.</li>
<li>Undertake and contribute to Section 47 enquiries where required.</li>
<li>Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency safeguarding meetings.</li>
<li>Analyse family circumstances, parenting capacity, risks, strengths and protective factors.</li>
<li>Develop appropriate plans and recommendations based </li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Social Work England registration</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Eligible to work in the UK</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Hold a full UK driving licence</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Post-qualified experience</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</span> </li>
