<p><span data-ccp-props="{}">This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced urology nurse to take on a specialist position, providing expert clinical support to patients throughout their treatment journey while working closely with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.</span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialist nursing care to patients with urological conditions, including urological cancers</li>
<li>Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans</li>
<li>Coordinate investigations, treatments and ongoing patient follow-up</li>
<li>Provide specialist advice, education and emotional support to patients and their families</li>
<li>Work closely with Consultants, nursing teams, GPs and wider MDT colleagues</li>
<li>Support patients in making informed decisions about their treatment and care</li>
<li>Contribute to nurse-led clinics, case management and the development of patient pathways</li>
<li>Act as a clinical resource and role model, promoting evidence-based urology nursing practice</li>
<li>Contribute to clinical audit, research, quality improvement and service development</li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years' recent post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years' experience in urology / urology cancer care</li>
<li>Level 8 post-registration qualification relevant to Urology Nursing, or willingness to complete within one year</li>
<li>Strong clinical assessment, communication and organisational skills</li>
<li>Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team</li>
<li>Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care </li>
