Vice President of Human Resources- Healthcare
Part-Time | 12-Month Engagement
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources for a part-time, 12-month engagement. This individual will serve as a senior HR leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior-level HR leadership and counsel to the executive team.
• Lead and support workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and reductions in force (RIFs) .
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws , HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and evaluate employee benefits, compensation, and HR programs , balancing employee needs with financial considerations.
• Partner closely with Finance and executive leadership on headcount planning, budgeting, compensation, benefits costs, and workforce-related financial decisions.
• Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and change management .
• Help strengthen HR processes, policies, and infrastructure while maintaining a practical, hands-on approach.
Ideal Background
The successful candidate will be a seasoned HR executive with broad leadership experience and strong knowledge of employment law, RIFs/restructuring, benefits, compensation, and the financial aspects of human resources . The ability to operate strategically while remaining willing to roll up their sleeves is critical.
