Located in the General Aviation and Commercial Division Training and Certification Branch, AFS-810. Responsible for developing and overseeing policy, standards, testing, and certification programs for airmen, under 14 CFR parts 61, 65, 141, and 147, for safe operations in the NAS. Focus on development and implementation of standards, programs, policy, regulatory development, procedures for field personnel and the public governing all matters related to general aviation rotorcraft safety issues.
