We want you to  #JOINTHEREBELLION! For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd. We are on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our passionate People & Talent Team. The Rebellion Talent Team is right at the heart of the studio, often the very first point of contact for anyone dreaming of joining us. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be helping us to grow the studios behind our games and wider businesses by partnering with hiring managers and HR to find, engage, and hire brilliant people, championing an outstanding candidate experience and flying the Rebellion flag. You will take ownership of the full 360° cycle of in-house recruitment for many departments within the company, from creating the initial advert of a role right through to getting an offer acceptance and doing onboarding preparations. You will build trusted relationships with hiring managers and heads of department, partnering closely with them to understand their hiring needs, and build successful recruitment strategies for roles that they require. Candidate sourcing will also play a big part in this role as you will proactively search for candidates with niche skillsets and build your own network of both active and passive candidates. This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment. Travel to various recruitment events throughout the year will also be required for this role. Responsibilities • Partner with the TA Lead, hiring managers, and HR to understand hiring needs and shape recruitment strategies. • Proactively source and build pipelines of candidates via job boards, social media, networking and referrals. • Conduct initial pre-screen calls to assess candidates' skills, experience, and overall fit for the role that they have applied to. • Schedule interviews and coordinate the feedback, keeping candidates informed of their application status and progress throughout their journey. • Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote Rebellion as an employer of choice. • Oversee ATS records and recruitment admin, ensuring accurate documentation and policy compliance. • Track and report key recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement. • Support the TA Lead on employer branding initiatives and ad-hoc talent projects. • Attend recruitment events throughout the year, organising the event set-up and representing Rebellion to a high standard for event attendees. • Professional experience in in-house recruitment or talent acquisition, and a good level of knowledge of employment law. Experience with recruiting for technical roles is preferred. • Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone and customer service demeanour. • The ability to foster strong relationships with both candidates and internal hiring teams. • Proficiency in basic computer software including MS Office, with a talent for quickly mastering new software platforms. Experience with Workable is also a bonus. • Strong LinkedIn skills and good previous experience with sourcing candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter. • A genuine passion for, and interest in, the games industry is a strong plus. • A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is strongly preferred.
