Due to continuous growth and expansion,  Sunlight Group  offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a  Tax Specialist to join our Finance team at Sunlight’s  Athens  premises. The role plays a key part in ensuring tax compliance and supporting local and international reporting requirements. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include: • Collaborates with external tax and accounting consultants to ensure full compliance with tax and statutory obligations. • Assist with the preparation of the Corporate Income Tax Return for the headquarters and support the submission of tax filings across various areas, including VAT, withholding taxes, and digital transaction duties • Support the alignment of the company’s accounting records with myDATA platform requirements.. • Supports external Transfer Pricing advisors in the preparation of the Transfer Pricing documentation. • Prepares required documentation for tax audits and supports the Tax Certificate process. • Provides support on ad hoc tax-related projects across the business. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. • 2-4 years of experience in Tax, Accounting, Audit, or Tax Advisory roles. • Understanding of key tax areas, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and withholding taxes; exposure to Transfer Pricing concepts will be considered an asset. • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and myDATA requirements. • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA or relevant tax certifications) will be considered an asset. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail. • Effective communication skills and fluency in English. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
