As Performance Partner, you will be responsible for supporting, challenging and developing those relationships. You will work closely with contractors, operational teams and leaders to drive high standards of workmanship, service delivery and compliance across the region. This isn't a desk bound role. You will spend time out in the field, meeting with trade partners, inspecting completed work, reviewing performance and helping resolve issues before they become problems. You will be the link between expectations and execution, making sure our partners are equipped to deliver quality outcomes every day. Sound judgement is a must along with strong communication skills and the confidence to have direct conversations when performance falls short. Equally important is the ability to recognise opportunity, build trust and help people improve. About us At Switched On Group, we are committed to enhancing people's environments. As one of the key Maintenance Partners on the Te Mahi Ngātahi contract, Switched On Housing works with Kāinga Ora to help ensure homes are safe, warm, dry and comfortable. Our teams support communities from Tairāwhiti-Gisborne to Waitaha-Canterbury, delivering maintenance, repairs and housing improvements every day. We are committed to creating positive outcomes for our customers, communities and kaimahi. What you will be doing • Managing relationships with subcontractors and key stakeholders across the region • Supporting onboarding, inductions and contractor compliance requirements • Monitoring performance against contractual obligations, quality standards and KPIs • Completing site inspections and quality audits of completed work • Working alongside contractors to identify issues and implement practical improvements • Providing guidance and training on systems, processes and expectations • Maintaining contractor records and assurance documentation • Analysing performance data and reporting on trends, risks and opportunities • Supporting trade capacity planning to ensure the right coverage is in place across the region What We are Looking For You know how to build productive working relationships and aren't afraid to hold people accountable when standards aren't being met. You may come from contractor management, construction, housing, maintenance, quality assurance or operational performance. What's most important is your ability to work with people, spot opportunities for improvement and turn conversations into action. You will bring: • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, operational performance or quality processes • The ability to influence and build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities • Confidence interpreting data and using insights to improve performance • A practical, solutions focused approach • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal • Knowledge of the construction, maintenance or housing sector would be an advantage • A commitment to continuous improvement and doing things well Why Join Us?
