Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Safety Specialist to support safety initiatives across Keller and Hoffman's construction projects and company operations. This position will primarily support projects throughout our Northern Region, working closely with our Safety Manager, project teams. and field leadership to promote a safe, healthy, and accident free work environment. You will play a key role in monitoring jobsite safety, assisting with training programs, conducting inspections, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, Regular travel to project sites is required. Essential Functions: • Assist the Safety Manager in planning and delivering safety training programs • Conduct new hire safety orientations and maintain accurate training documentation • Support training initiatives including forklift certification, first aid/CPR, trench safety, fall protection, equipment inspections, CDL compliance, and other required programs • Educate employees on safe work practices, hazard recognition, and company safety expectations • Help coordinate annual safety meeting • Stay current on safety regulations and communicate changes to project teams and field personnel • Help maintain equipment inspection tracking systems and ensure required inspections are completed • Build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, project teams. and fellow employee-owners • Conduct frequent jobsite visits to promote safe work practices and provide hands on safety support • Participate in incident, injury, near miss, and property damage investigations • Provide timely reports, documentation, and safety observations to project leadership and Safety Manager • Other duties as assigned • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field • 1-3 years of construction safety experience preferred • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and industry best practices • Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills • Ability to effectively interact with field personnel, project teams, subcontractors, and clients • Ability to travel to project sites as need What do YOU need to succeed here: • Operate with integrity and honor commitments throughout the whole project • Be a team player and share the same vision to meet goals • Be coachable and willing to learn new things • Have the right attitude and effort - SHOW UP EVERY DAY • Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team
