F&F Properties is hiring full-time Maintenance Technicians for a fast-paced multifamily environment throughout Greater San Diego County. We are looking for dependable, hands-on team members who take ownership, work well independently, and know how to provide great resident service while getting the job done right. This is not just a make-ready position. We are looking for technicians who have experience with HVAC maintenance and repair, can handle apartment turns, service requests, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple trades in a fast-moving environment. Department: Property Operations / Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Hourly Wage: $26-$28 per hour (depending on experience) The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and upkeep of apartment communities throughout the portfolio. Responsibilities include apartment turnovers, service requests, preventative maintenance, inspections, and general repair work involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliances, and other maintenance-related tasks. This role also supports community appearance and safety standards while delivering professional and timely service to residents. Technicians may participate in emergency maintenance coverage and on-call rotations as needed. • Experience in multi-family maintenance and unit turnover preferred • Advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting. • HVAC and CPO certifications preferred. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and interpret service orders, technical documents, safety rules, and manuals. • High school diploma or GED; technical school training preferred. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. • Must be available for weekend work and emergency on-call shifts. • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
