<p>Action Garage Door is looking for a <strong>Service Manager</strong> to lead and develop our residential service team in the Treasure Valley.</p>
<p>This is not a desk-management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who loves developing people, understands the relationship between great service and strong sales performance, and knows how to turn daily coaching into measurable results.</p>
<p>The right leader will spend time in the field with technicians, coach opportunities in real time, use data to identify performance gaps, and create a culture where technicians consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing every opportunity.</p>
<h2>What You'll Own</h2>
<ul>
<li>Lead, coach, and develop our residential service technicians</li>
<li>Drive service revenue, sales performance, and profitability</li>
<li>Improve opportunity conversion, average ticket, and technician productivity</li>
<li>Conduct regular ride-alongs and in-field coaching</li>
<li>Review calls, estimates, invoices, and technician performance</li>
<li>Coach technicians on presenting options and creating an exceptional customer experience</li>
<li>Establish clear individual goals and hold the team accountable</li>
<li>Lead daily huddles, weekly meetings, and individual performance conversations</li>
<li>Identify training needs and build development plans for technicians</li>
<li>Partner with Dispatch and the Call Center to maximize capacity and opportunity</li>
<li>Ensure technicians consistently follow Action Garage Door and ServiceTitan processes</li>
<li>Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing technicians</li>
<li>Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally</li>
<li>Recognize top performers while quickly addressing performance gaps</li>
</ul>
<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of leadership experience in a service organization</li>
<li>Proven ability to coach and develop frontline employees</li>
<li>Strong understanding of customer service and consultative selling</li>
<li>Comfortable managing through KPIs, scorecards, and performance data</li>
<li>Willingness to spend significant time in the field coaching technicians</li>
<li>Strong communication and accountability skills</li>
<li>Ability to build trust while maintaining high performance expectations</li>
<li>Experience in garage doors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another home-service trade strongly preferred</li>
<li>ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred</li>
</ul>
