Build the engine behind great customer experiences.
Some people see HubSpot and think, "CRM."
You see data models, APIs, workflows, attribution, automation, reporting, integrations, and probably at least three things you'd improve before your first coffee.
If you've ever looked at a manually updated spreadsheet and quietly whispered "we can do better than this", we should probably talk.
We're looking for a Senior HubSpot Technical Specialist to join our global Marketing team in New Zealand. You'll help configure, integrate and continuously improve HubSpot so colleagues across Australia, New Zealand and the United States have processes, workflows and data they can actually trust.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates based anywhere in New Zealand.
You'll work alongside experienced HubSpot specialists, Revenue Operations, Sales and Marketing leaders, helping turn commercial processes into reliable technical solutions that make everyone's life just a little bit easier. (Or at least remove a few spreadsheets from circulation.)
About Us
Founded in 2003, First Focus has grown into one of Australia and New Zealand's leading managed technology service providers.
In 2026, First Focus joined Integris, bringing together talented teams across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Together, we're building the leading global provider of managed AI and IT services for small and medium-sized businesses.
We've grown by hiring great people, trusting them to do what they do best, and giving them the support to keep getting better. It's a culture where good ideas beat hierarchy, learning never really stops, and collaboration isn't just something people say during meetings.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the technical owner behind our HubSpot platform, helping turn commercial ideas into robust, scalable solutions.
Your work will include:
• Configuring HubSpot data models, custom objects, fields, pipelines and permissions.
• Aligning Australian and US configurations and data, preserving relevant regional differences, and delivering a controlled migration into the US instance.
• Designing and delivering a controlled migration into our US HubSpot instance.
• Building and maintaining integrations using APIs, webhooks and native connectors.
• Improving workflows and automation that remove repetitive manual work.
• Working with our website and digital marketing teams to implement consent-aware tracking and attribution.
• Maintaining trusted reporting for MRR, ARR, TCV, regions, currencies and commercial performance.
• Testing changes thoroughly, planning rollbacks and documenting configurations properly.
• Supporting internal knowledge sharing, contractor handovers and practical training.
Where we'll start
Like any good technical project, we'll agree the priorities together.
Early success will include:
• Building a trusted technical baseline for tracking and reporting, with tested conversions, agreed definitions and clearly understood gaps.
• Delivering an Australia-to-US migration plan and pilot, complete with reconciliation, rollback and clear retirement criteria for the Australian instance.
• Removing manual effort from a priority business process, with measurable improvements for its owner.
We'd love to meet someone who has
• Extensive hands-on HubSpot administration and technical implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of HubSpot data models, workflows, permissions and reporting.
• Experience delivering HubSpot migrations or complex CRM implementations.
• Practical experience integrating systems using APIs, webhooks and middleware.
• Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and consent-aware attribution.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for integrations, automation and synchronisation issues.
• A disciplined approach to testing, documentation and maintainable configuration.
• The ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset and genuine enjoyment of solving problems with others.
