Junior Administrative Assistant

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Salary: R 10,000–15,000
About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the facility and clinical team.
This is a varied role where you’ll assist with administration, scheduling, communication, record keeping, project follow-ups, and general team support .
This opportunity would suit someone who is organised, reliable, proactive, comfortable with technology, and eager to learn . You’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow within the role over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with a variety of administrative tasks across the facility.
• Help monitor ongoing projects and follow up on outstanding tasks and deadlines.
• Ensure scheduled communications are sent accurately and on time.
• Communicate with client families regarding updates, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Support the case management team with record keeping, scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
• Keep files, trackers, shared documents, and records organised and up to date.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and other activities.
• Take ownership of smaller administrative projects and see them through to completion.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
• Handle sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
Requirements
• Previous experience in administration, customer service, coordination, healthcare administration, or a similar role is beneficial.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Basic computer and administrative skills, including email, scheduling, data entry, and document management .
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace .
• Able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to assist where needed.
• Able to handle confidential information appropriately.

You don't need experience with every system. Being comfortable with technology and willing to learn is more important.

What This Role Offers
• Fully remote position.
