The Business Development Rep- Technical Sales will work as part of a team, engaged in helping companies buy and sell pre-owned laboratory and life sciences equipment. We are seeking a results-driven business development professional with a strong “hunter” mindset and proven capital equipment sales experience within the Biotech and Life Sciences industry. This individual will thrive in outbound prospecting, building relationships by phone, and converting company-generated leads into qualified opportunities and closed revenue. Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives. • Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities. • Engage in warm calling to establish relationships with prospective clients. • Utilize CRM for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics. • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring client satisfaction. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitive landscape. • Provide leadership within the sales team by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.
