Our client in Cheshire East is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its Adult Social Care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to develop their expertise within a supportive local authority environment, undertaking person-centred assessments and delivering interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and improved outcomes for adults living within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Occupational Therapy assessments for adults in the community
Assess for equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling needs
Support independence through strengths-based interventions
Work closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate records and assessment reports
Contribute to safe discharge planning and community support where required
Requirements
HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
Adult Social Care or Community OT experience
Knowledge of equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to manage a varied caseload
