Job responsibilities:
• Lead client tax and advisory engagements
• Act as a team leader providing oversight for project outcomes
• Set up and engage with teams and provide hands on direction
• Plan and execute tax and advisory engagements, including managing deadlines and budgets
• Supervise staff while ensuring technical compliance and timely service of delivery.
• Act as an influential component of the team, train and coach members, communicate feedback regularly to senior and staff accountants
• Provide clear communication in setting expectations, identifying risk and managing project budgets
• Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact, managing expectations, and providing advice on accounting and business issues. Become client's preferred advisor contact
• Participate in special projects as necessary
• Support senior mgmt. in pitching for new business and expanding existing client relationships

Requirements:
• 5 years of relevant tax experience
• 2 years of reviewing tax returns
• CPA required
• Partnership experience preferred
• Industry experience in one of the firm's specializations a plus (Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services)
